I started working with electronics while at Cal Arts. I'm still often confused but I think I'm starting to figure it out. I currently teach a basic electronics class at UCSD and at occasionally at Cal Arts. Feel free to email me if you'd like to offer me a job at your high paying public or private educational institution.
I'm currently teaching an electronics classes at Machine Project, which is going very well. Expect more of these in the future.
I used to run a monthly meeting for people interested in doing stuff with electronics called Los Angeles Art and Technology Hackers Club, which we've folded into the new SoCal branch of Dorkbot. I wrote a brief (and now out of date) history of the brief history of the club last year.
Some personal art projects involving electronics documented on this site are the USB Party Pup, Video Gong Show and some of the Mirror Sculptures
I've worked on engineering a number of fun game/art/performance projects
with my colleagues at C-level. These
include Tekken Torture Tournament,
Cockfight Arena, and
Waco Resurrection.
As the world's greatest gallery owner, I offer engineering support to the
artists who show at my space. Highlights include working on Mount
St Holly by Holly Vesecky and Dark
Pastoral by Jessica Hutchins.
I work part time for Steve Rosenbluth who owns concept
overdrive. They do very impressive control systems for animatronics
and camera control.
I've done a number of freelance engineering jobs. Some were interesting, lucrative and impressive. Others were dull, difficult and humilating. I'm planning on documenting those soon, but I'm afraid that might lead to more work, so don't hold your breath.

I'd be really happy if you'd come over and organize my workstation.
