I get a lot of email for people named Mark Allen. 95% is spam, 3% is for someone else named Mark Allen, and 2% is for me. Since I own the domain name, any email address ending in markallen.com comes into my email box. If I've directed you here, please take a minute to update your address book, and remove any email accounts ending in markallen.com (unless you actually wish to email me).

Below I've posted some educated guesses of who you were looking for.

Mark Allen Group - Most of the misdirected email I get is headed here. They do medical publishing and event organizing, so I get a huge amount of unsolicted articles for nursing magazines and confused queries about booking hotel rooms for 200-300 people. I wish that this would stop, as these email are usually accompanied by attachments. Inevitably these emails are accompanied by that absurd legal boilerplate claiming that the email is for the intended receipiet only blah blah blah.

The Day Mark Allen Died

Mark Allen - Artist/Writer/masseur I get a fair amount email for him along the lines of "Hey, I met you at a party and you seemed really cool" So I assume he is. He's had a couple of pieces on NPR which have confused my friends terribly. I've informed him this has to stop.

Mark Allen - "No triathlete has gained the recognition or success that Mark Allen has. After competing and losing in the Ironman Triathlon Championships six times, he emerged victorious in 1989, winning the most difficult one-day sporting event in the world."

I love when I get emails meant for him, as they're always along the lines of "I've been training running 5 miles a day, but my doctor says that my heart condition would preclude me from running in a 10k race this weekend, what should I do?". I always encourage the writer to go for it!

Mark Allen - Words can't describe how much this guy rules.
