Introduction to sensors

 

1) Sensors are how we connect our circuits to the "real world".

2) Data from sensors can be in the form of voltage, resistance, current, continuity (on/off), pulses, and serial data.

3) Data may be analog or digital.

4) Sensors are calibrated for certain conditions and are capable of reporting changes at certain speeds.
